ACHAT Jasper

Beautiful rough stone of the Jasper variety ACHATJASPIS or JASPACHAT.

The name “Hildegard Jasper is used by esotericism, because the famous Hildegard of Bingen allegedly mentioned this jasper species in her writings. This special jasper was and is still found in these areas of Rhineland-Palatinate.

ACHATJASPIS is, as the name suggests, a mineral mixture of microcrystalline jasper and ACHAT.

This piece comes from the former site in the oasis Tidikelt in the Sahara – North Africa.
