Very nice small level. AEGIRIN xx with orthoclase feldspar.
AEGIRIN is a relatively rare sodium-iron silicate. The type locality is in Norway. Name after a Nordic sea god.
The world’s best AEGIRIN levels currently come from MALAWI in Africa, namely from Mount Malosa. The site is extremely difficult to reach, partly in extremely steep rocky areas.
The AEGIRIN crystals have a very good shine – the color is black-dark green.
