MOUNTAIN CRYSTAL Var. ARTICHOKE QUARTZ

Short prismatic quartz crystals tw. twinned with seated CHALCOPYRITE = KUPFERKIES crystals.

These typical “ARTICHOKE QUARTZ” were still relatively common at the end of the 90s, but in the meantime they are hardly to be seen anywhere due to the lack of new discoveries.
