edge translucent, slightly smoky large crystalline QUARRY.

Almost no new material has been seen on the market in the last 25 years from this formerly well-known site.

The fracture in the upper part of the aquamarine crystal most likely occurred when the quartz matrix was knocked out of the surrounding rock. The beryls are very hard,7- 8 Mohs hardness, and therefore sensitive to shock. Nevertheless, the stage is ORIGINAL and highly attractive.
