Mookait is a mineral mixture of CHALCEDON – FIRESTONE and OPALITH

The name derives from the place of discovery : MOOKA CREEK . In the language of the Australian aborigines ” MOOKA” means as much as “flowing water “. There are quite a few freshwater springs in this area – they are rare in the notoriously extremely dry OUTBACK.

The world-wide only finding place for Mookait lies approx. 1,000 km far away from the West Australian capital PERTH.
