Pink-coloured GROSSULAR xx

Special garnet specimen from the finds of the Sierra de Cruces in Mexico. From this area are especially the Rasberry Garnets , with the intense red colors known. Yellow/green, white and black gross forms were also found.

This piece has a black MELANITE garnet core on which the slightly pinkish grossular has grown.
