The Tafelkop is the highest peak (1073 m above sea level.M.) in the northeastern corner of the Goboboseb Mountains in the Brandberg massif. Minerals in basalt caves.

The Goboboseb Mountains are a mountain range in Namibia. They are located between the Dorob National Park on the South Atlantic coast to the east and the Brandberg massif, about 35 kilometres to the west. The Goboboseb Mountains date back to the volcanic activity of the nearby Messum crater and reach an altitude of more than 1000 m.
