Very nice small specimen. AEGIRIN xx with orthoclase feldspar .
AEGIRIN is a relatively rare sodium-iron silicate. The type locality is in Norway. Named after a Nordic sea god.
The world's best AEGIRIN specimens currently come from MALAWI in Africa, namely from Mount Malosa. The site is extremely difficult to reach, sometimes in life-threateningly steep rocky areas.
The AEGIRIN crystals have a very good luster - the color is black-dark green.
