The name HILDEGARD Jasper is derived from Hildegard von Bingen, who described these stones as "healing stones" ??? and which are also offered as such today, as stones with these attributes are apparently easier to sell!
This jasper variety with embedded small agates is ideal for cutting great pieces of jewelry with first-class patterns.
