An absolute rarity - quartz crystals on dove-blue chalcedony and siderite iron ore. The name amethyst is actually not correct, because the blue chalcedony on which the quartz crystals have grown shines through and thus results in a color similar to amethyst. This name became established among miners at the time.
This piece comes from level 58. The mine was closed in 1977 and is no longer accessible.
