GRANAT - ALMANDIN xx in mica schist. First-class large specimen - practically no longer available or to be found in such dimensions.
This GRANAT museum specimen was recovered in the late 1960s in the extremely high alpine region of the Zillertal/Tyrol on the famous HORNKEES in summer and, due to its enormous weight, was only transported down to the valley on sledges in winter.
This step has been in our possession for many years and served as a decoration for our alpine department.
