SMOKE QUARTZ level with "PHANTOM DRAWINGS" in the crystals.
SMOKY CRYSTALS are monocrystalline quartz of the BERGKRISTALL variety. The dark coloration - from slightly smoky to completely black (MORION), occurs when radioactive elements are present near the fissure in which the crystals were formed - usually at a depth of about 10 kilometers. In the long term, this radioactive radiation causes a shift in the quartz crystal lattice and also affects the microscopically small inclusions of water in the crystal.
The "phantoms" in the crystals are actually just growth defects. As a rule, a stage like this takes about 2 million years until it is "finished" - at temperatures of over 400 degrees and over 3000 BAR pressure - at lower values the SILICIUM and SAUERSTOFF atoms cannot combine to form quartz molecules.
