Normally Bleiberger Wulfeniteeven for large specialist stores. We ourselves have not had a piece on offer for years. Collectors, especially from abroad, who were looking for the most famous mineral in Austria, we had to send directly to Bleiberg, where some private sellers still sell pieces, but you can't get comparable specimens for less than 1,000 euros!
We have been able to acquire several WULFENIT steps from the estate of a mining engineer, from the former mining industry, a few of which are still for sale.
Take the opportunity - you probably won't get any Bleiberger WULFENITE anywhere else!
WULFENITE was first described by the natural scientist Baron Freiher von WULFEN in 1783 as Carinthian BLEYSPAT - the mineral was later named after WULFEN.
BLEIBERG is the TYPLOCALITY For this reason alone, reasonably good material is unfortunately not available cheaply, and mining has ceased 20 years ago - new finds are therefore no longer possible.
