First described by the naturalist Baron Franz Xaver von Wulfen in 1783 as Carinthian lead spar.
Very large step with many reddish WULFENIT crystals all around.
These special reddish WULFENITE were not found in the STEFANIE pit like the yellow oranges, but in the FRANZ JOSEF pit.
